The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) department is accepting applications for a 5-year, fixed-term Agricultural Program Manager (Prairie Dog Manager) position. This is a great opportunity to join the OSMP Agriculture and Water Stewardship team and help restore and maintain OSMP’s agricultural properties and diverse and unique natural resources. This position implements, evaluates, and assists with prairie dog management, agricultural land restoration, and agricultural infrastructure maintenance to meet program objectives. With a focus on managing conflict between prairie dogs and agriculture, the position designs, researches, analyzes, consults, and provides technical assistance to protect and improve agricultural resources and infrastructure. Much of this work occurs on irrigated agricultural fields.
