Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department, Water Group of the Agricultural Resources Division, is seeking to hire a Water Resources Wildfire Mitigation Specialist. This is a new full-time position to coordinate with ditch companies and contractors to manage and perform tasks to mitigate fuel loads and debris piles along irrigation ditch corridors on County property.
New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month.
This is a full-time, benefited position. Scheduled work hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and is based at BCPOS Headquarters located at 5201 St. Vrain Rd. Longmont, Colorado.
