This position offers a salary of $73,173.27 – $91,466.59/year and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the community by enhancing and preserving Aurora’s natural environment 🌲.
🌟 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the administrative side of the Forestry team, including staff supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee public tree inspections, plant health care management, and enforcement of forestry ordinances.
- Collaborate on urban forestry initiatives with other municipalities and agencies.
- Manage development projects, budgets, and contracts for city tree maintenance.
âś… Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Horticulture, Natural Resources, or a related field.
- At least five years of progressive experience in Urban Forestry.
- ISA Arborist Certification and ISA TRAQ Qualification.
