COSA Job Opening – Larimer County Natural Resources Education & Volunteer Assistant – Seasonal

The Education & Volunteer program with the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is seeking an Education & Volunteer Assistant to join the team for the 2025 season.

Do you love educating others about the wonders of nature and inspiring stewardship? Do you enjoy working with people? Then this is a great opportunity for you!

The Education & Volunteer Assistant connects people, nature, and place through interpretive programming for a variety of audiences. They design, lead, and coordinate engaging educational programs to inspire curiosity and foster stewardship of our natural world. They also work alongside our awesome volunteers, provide support for coordination of volunteer events and activities and are an integral part of creating a positive volunteer experience.

This position is a great fit for anyone interested in working in interpretation, volunteer management, outdoor education, and/or program coordination. A full-time temporary position of 40 hrs. per week with a March – November season. There is potential for a flexible schedule to accommodate school schedules.
