COSA City of Longmont Job Announcement – Natural Resources Technician I/II

The City of Longmont Ecosystem Management Division is excited to hire for a full-time, benefited Natural Resources Technician I or II, depending on qualifications. This position will work within our vegetation management workgroup focusing on weed control and restoration while occasionally assisting the wildlife workgroup with their projects. Job description is attached.

This position will have the opportunity to advance up to a Tech III level as experience and certifications are gained. This benefitted position provides 40 hours of vacation on day one with the accrual rate based on overall career experience, not just your experience with the City. Other benefit highlights include six weeks of 100% paid parental and caregiver leave, a pension with the ability for early retirement, a retirement health savings account, 96 hours of paid sick leave per year with unlimited accumulation, and 12 holidays.
