COSA Forest Restoration in Douglas County

This post is more than 14 days old, and the information may no longer be current.

Douglas County would like to share the Jackson Creek Forest Restoration Project. This is a 510 acre project that will reduce wildland fire hazards and realign the forest with historical conditions by decreasing tree densities, removing ladder fuels, modifying stand structure and creating openings in the forest canopy.

Feel free to share with past and current forestry operators you may have worked with or currently have under contract. At this time, Douglas County uses the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System and can be accessed at www.rockymountainbidsystem.com.

Please reference the attached RFQ for this exciting project that will improve overall forest health and resource protection along the front range.
