Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) Department, Water Group of the Agricultural Resources Division, is seeking to hire a Water Resources Technician. The Water Resources Technician will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled duties in executing operations in the field, data collection, and maintenance.
The Agricultural Resources Division of BCPOS provides for the stewardship of over 13,000 acres of irrigated cropland through partnerships with 65 agricultural tenants. In addition to the agricultural use of our water rights, the Water Program supports environmental use projects including channel restoration and fish passage projects.
New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month.
This is a full-time, benefited position. Scheduled work hours Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and is based at BCPOS Headquarters located at 5201 St. Vrain Rd. Longmont, Colorado.
