Hi COSA members,
The Southern Rockies Fire Science Network, CSU, and Bayer will be hosting an invasive annual grass symposium entitled “Targeting the Triple Threat” on May 30th, followed by a field tour on the 31st. The entire symposium will also be broadcast online for those who cannot attend in person or are out of state. Another bonus is 5 approved SRM and 8 Society of American Foresters continuing education credits. There is a diverse panel of speakers including federal agencies, universities, and industry to tackle the question, what are the landscape scale impacts that invasive annual grasses like cheatgrass pose, and what management tools do we have for long-term control?
