Shadowcliff Mountain Lodge is hiring for the 2018 season! Spend the summer in Grand Lake at our nonprofit lodge and retreat center meeting new people, working hard, and exploring the area. We have several openings, most of which include room, board, and monthly pay:
Rotating Staff: The heart of Shadowcliff, Rotating Staff work in front office, housekeeping, kitchen, group experiences, and special projects. Average work week is 32 hours. Dorm style rooms provided.
Compassionate Kitchen Cook: Our kitchen lead, this person designs menus, orders food, and leads the cooking. A knowledge of seasonal ingredients and how to source locally are strongly desired. Work week hours vary. Private room provided.
Front Office Manager: A part-time position helping to take reservations, answer phones, do laundry, and general office tasks. This position only includes room and board if part of a couple where the other person is applying to work at Shadowcliff, or if interested in sharing dorms with Rotating Staff.
Maintenance Lead: The keeper of the facilities and grounds, this person should be skilled in basic plumbing and electrical, and have a solid construction type skill set. A thoughtful problem solver is a must! Work week hours vary. Private room provided.
