COSA JOB OPPORTUNITY: Part-Time Evening Program Instructors

Cal-Wood Education Center is looking for part-time evening program instructors!

This is ideally someone who is interested in coming to Cal-Wood Education Center (above Jamestown – about 30 min west of Boulder) twice a week to lead meals and night programs such as night hikes and/or campfires.

Description: Cal-Wood is seeking energetic, flexible, hard-working, and motivated applicants for an exciting and rewarding position leading environmental education based evening programs (night hikes and/or campfires).

Responsibilities: Work 1-2 dinners and evening programs per week. Run and serve meals (no cooking necessary) before evening programs and lead programs such as night hike or campfire.

Qualifications: Strong desire and ability to work effectively with students from a variety of backgrounds and ages. Bachelor’s Degree (ideally in science, natural resource management, education, outdoor education, or other related field). Ability to pass background checks. First Aid/CPR knowledge or willingness to get certified required. Spanish ability is highly desired, but not mandatory. Must have reliable vehicle that can handle dirt roads and snow.

Compensation: $15 / hour for meal and night programs (4 total hours) or $18/hr for just night programs (2 hours). Meals included when working programs.
