COSA Limited Space Still Available for “Unconference”

Join a powerful, reinvigorating experience at Shadowcliff this September 23rd-27th at Beyond Sustainability in Grand Lake.

Created out of the need for a place where sustainability folks (that’s you!) could connect in a more meaningful way than at a conference or networking happy hour, Beyond Sustainability: A Workshop for Professionals is open to any person working on sustainability issues in any sector: government, business, education, or non-profit. It’s been created in partnership with ISSP and this year’s representative, Rosalinda Sanquiche, is going to be amazing!

This year’s line up is stellar. As those of you who have attended know, it’s an energizing mix of outdoor experiences, social connection, and useful sessions led by seasoned faculty. Take a look:

  • Using mindfulness to deepen our work, led by Margit Hentschel at the CSU Center for Mindfulness;
  • Deepening our leadership skills by using the joyful, powerful approach of coach and consultant Deb Kleinman of Lupine Collaborative;
  • Exploring ways to create meaningful stakeholder engagement with Michelle Finchum of the City of Fort Collins;
  • Examining how we are a collective of sustainability professionals that can support each other and tools for the toolbox with Rosalinda Sanquiche, ISSP board member;
  • Changing the narrative of our future by exploring Circular Economy and beyond with Harvey Stone;
  • A pontoon boat experience to learn how the Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce has embraced environmental stewardship through co-founding the Outstanding Grand Lake movement

Also in the lineup:

* Hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park;
* Yoga with Emily Cesca;
* Both quiet reflective and social engagement times
* Amazing food and wonderfully rustic accommodations in Grand Lake

There’s really nothing else like this around. I do hope you can come. Click here to learn more and register. Shadowcliff offers intimate sized programs so it’s best to register sooner than later to secure your spot. ISSP members get a discounted rate. And if you can’t come, please spread the word!!
