Sorry for the email bombardment today, but I wanted to share links to a couple of other funds helping with the fires and their impacts:
The donation link for Boulder County is https://www.commfound.org/2020firesfund (partnership between Boulder County and the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County).
and a donation link for Larimer County: https://uwaylc.org/post/Cameron-Peak-Fire-Response-Fund
Thank you for your incredible generosity in this trying time.

I’m also sad to share the incredibly unfortunate news that Jeremy Krones, our friend and colleague and the executive director at Colorado Headwaters Land Trust, lost his home in the East Troublesome fire last week. Please consider supporting his GoFundMe and the other funds assisting communities in need right now.
Sending well wishes to you all in these difficult times.

Subject: new link: Jeremy Krones lost home in fire
Hello Keep It Colorado coalition members, Over the weekend we were in touch with Jeremy Krones, the executive director at Colorado Headwaters Land Trust, and he has confirmed the loss of his home in the East Troublesome fire. He was also in the middle of CHLT’s annual fundraiser, which has been postponed due to the fire. Thankfully, Jeremy was able to safely evacuate his home before it burned, and he currently has housing in Winter Park thanks to one of his board members. Our hearts are with him during this difficult time and we are grateful he is safe.
Jeremy is in need of essentials and is figuring out next steps for how to rebuild. We’ve set up a GoFundMe page for personal donations for Jeremy:
Fire Relief Fund for Jeremy Krones
If you are in a position to contribute, we know that Jeremy would deeply appreciate any support you would be able to offer at this time.
Below are a few other ways to support communities that need help right now:
- Grand County Wildfire Emergency Fund
- Cameron Peak Fire Response Fund
- American Red Cross
- YMCA of the Rockies (Snow Mountain Ranch and Estes Park Center) – They are housing hundreds of firefighters and fire evacuees in Grand Lake/Granby and Estes Park
This has been an unspeakably rough year. Thank you for banding together as a community and supporting each other in times of need.
