30 by 2030: Campaign Kickoff Meeting
The recent election demonstrated that this country is very divided. But, if there’s one thing that unites Colorado, it’s an abiding love for the outdoors. About 9 in 10 Coloradans regularly participate in outdoor recreation and a bipartisan majority of Coloradans – nearly three quarters – support setting a national goal for protecting our lands and waters.
Increasing the share of protected areas in our state will take a collective effort from all Coloradans, who must work together with our leaders, neighbors, and fellow outdoor lovers! We can encourage bold leadership from our elected officials by asking them to support a science-based campaign that protects 30% of America’s lands and waters by 2030.
