This position is a lead-specialist level classification that fosters community connection to nature. The position recruits and mentors volunteer naturalists who provide educational opportunities that relate to local environmental themes, open space stewardship, and a conservation ethic. Working with local multicultural community groups, this position leverages the value of diversity to co-create educational programs for county residents.
