This position primarily supports the development and modification of Parks and Wildlife Commission regulations by establishing process standards and document templates; drafting and filing rule-making notices; recording and summarizing Commission discussion and decisions for incorporation in regulation; keeping regulatory chapters organized, properly formatted and error free; maintaining rule-making records; and coordinating the filing of adopted regulations. In addition, this position is involved in a variety of other section activities such as research, data entry and analysis, monitoring and summarizing public comment, drafting reports, meeting support, building online surveys, etc.
