I’m a faculty member in Department of Geography, GIS, and Sustainability at the University of Northern Colorado where I teach our department’s professional development class to majors in environmental sustainability, geography, and GIS. Many of our students are interested in pursing careers related to natural resource management.
I am working with the Center for Career Readiness to coordinate virtual mock interviews for course and need several additional folks to participate as interviewers on Wednesday, Nov. 17th between 2:30 – 4:45 pm. We have time slots from 2:30 – 3:30 pm and from 3:45 – 4:45 pm.

Below is an overview of the structure of the interview sessions. Thank you in advance for your support of UNC students.
Students will sign-up in groups of three for this timeframe and all three students will be in the interview virtual space at the same time. One student will interview at a time while the other two students will be peer reviewers and then they will switch roles until all three have been the interviewee. There are three different sets of interview questions and the students will be encouraged to ask questions at the end of their interview (these won’t be answered but will receive feedback). After each interview we will give feedback to the student.
Also please remember that these interviews are for practice purposes. You are more than welcome to give your contact information to all students you meet during this event, but we ask you not to be selective based on an interest to recruit specific students.
