COSA Job Opportunity – Lead Ranger – City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department

The City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a Lead Ranger to help us build a ranger program. If you are an experienced ranger looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact on the community you serve, check out this position. City of Boulder Parks and Recreation manages 1,800 acres with over 100 urban parks, not to mention the iconic Boulder Reservoir and Boulder Creek Path. Come help us as we seek to provide safe and welcoming public spaces for the Boulder community to recreate throughout the city.

The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Outdoor Recreation Management or related field and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in ranger services, natural resource management, or related field. This position is open until filled with the initial review of applications starting on February 23, 2022.
