Hello,
City of Longmont is hiring two Temporary Watershed Rangers. Watershed Rangers provide resource protection, community outreach and education, and public safety at the City’s Button Rock Preserve (a nature preserve and crucial drinking water source for over 100,000 people).
If you are looking for a rewarding job in a beautiful place, you have found it. These entry-level positions will provide opportunity to learn about resource protection, public safety, forestry, and water resources.
Wildland fire training, wilderness first aid certification, and Spanish language proficiency are preferred. These positions may work up to 1560 hours in a year. The field season, which includes weekend and holiday shifts, will run from early-spring to early-winter.
To apply, please visit the City of Longmont employment opportunities page.
Best,
