ERO Resources Corporation is currently seeking a full-time wildlife biologist and a full-time staff biologist to join our natural resources group in Denver, Colorado. These positions will work in collaboration with our natural resources group to support new and existing natural resource projects based out of our Denver office. The ideal candidates will apply their ecological knowledge to evaluate a variety of project sites for natural resource concerns, provide guidance to clients on those resources, and prepare and review ecological reports and permit applications. Biologist II: Specialization in Wildlife Biology Position Overview

ERO is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced biologist with an emphasis on wildlife biology. Primary duties include threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and surveys, Endangered Species Act compliance, raptor and bald eagle surveys, and National Environmental Policy Act compliance.  Depending on experience, other duties could include delineating wetlands, Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting, and other environmental planning and management services.  This position is responsible for undertaking multiple project responsibilities, including field direction, technical writing, and project management. The applicant should be knowledgeable in data collection, analysis, and interpretation of scientific information and environmental regulations and in preparing various environmental documents.

Staff Biologist Position Overview

Primary duties include wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species habitat assessments and surveys, Endangered Species Act compliance, raptor and bald eagle surveys, vegetation communities surveys including noxious weeds, ecological restoration and wetland mitigation planning, and National Environmental Policy Act compliance.  This position is responsible for undertaking multiple project responsibilities, including field direction, technical writing, and project coordination. The applicant should be knowledgeable in data collection, analysis, and interpretation of scientific information and environmental regulations and in preparing various environmental documents.
