COSA Hiring Mexican Spotted Owl technician in April/May

Dear COSA members,

Bird Conservancy of the Rockies has two seasonal positions available to survey the Mexican Spotted Owl in Arizona and New Mexico National Forests. This is a great opportunity to work with a threatened species and explore the gorgeous high elevation habitat of these two states.

The seasonal positions start April 9th and end in mid-July. We will give preference to candidates that can start in early April but may also be able to accommodate a later start date in May. These positions require extensive travel and hiking, so we are looking for candidates with experience in the backcountry. As no previous wildlife work is required; these positions offer a unique opportunity to be introduced to wildlife surveys and conservation.

Please forward to your connections as we are looking to hire for these positions as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed as they come in. Please see the attached job description for more information and how to apply.

Best,
