Classes are filling up fast! RES 2022 is being held this year up in Estes Park, CO from May 16th-20th. It will primarily be held at the Ridgeline Hotel as well as Hermit Park Open Space for scenarios on Friday. Registration costs $250 per student and the First Aid/CPR class is an additional $34. Here is some more information including schedule, course descriptions and registration.
We also have the Brendan Unitt Scholarship opportunity where we will pay for the winning student to attend RES and pay for 5 nights in the hotel. They would still need to provide transportation and the meals that aren’t already provided but it would be a significant cost savings, almost $900. Perhaps due to the seriousness of why we have the scholarship, agencies are hesitant to apply as last year we awarded it after receiving no applications to one of the students that outshined during the week. We would love to see more people apply for this. The Park Law Enforcement Association donates money to cover these costs for the lucky participant.
