Among other duties, this Senior Assistant County Attorney position will work closely with Open Space staff to provide a wide variety of legal services involving land acquisition, land management, and natural resource protection.
The attorney will be in the Operations – Transactional section for the County Attorney’s Office. The work involves negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of real estate documents and a variety of contracts, representing various boards and commissions, including the Open Space Advisory Committee, and providing general legal advice to County staff and elected officials. The attorney will also meet with County clients and the public, represent elected officials, and review or draft policies and procedures, ordinances and legislation.
