Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers [RFOV] is now hiring for the position of Director of Communications & Engagement, to be based in Carbondale.

Background
Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers is a non-profit organization based in Carbondale Colorado with a mission to promote stewardship of our public lands by engaging our community in education, restoration and conservation projects. We work to foster a diverse and empowered community of stewards working collectively to create healthy and resilient landscapes. Serving the communities from Aspen to Rifle, RFOV mobilizes thousands of volunteers and educates hundreds of students to work on projects in the areas of sustainable recreation, healthy landscapes, and fire adaptation.

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, multi-talented Director of Communications and Engagement to drive and advance our communications and fundraising activities. In this role, you will be responsible for 1.) managing and growing all individual and corporate giving programs; 2.) leading communication strategy and execution and collaborating with staff to help with implementation; 3.) assist in managing relationships with key partners with an emphasis on increased funding, projects and volunteer engagement. You will work closely with the Executive Director to advance RFOV’s goals within the strategic plan as it relates to financial sustainability and community engagement.
