The Data Solutions Supervisor leads and manages the Data Solutions team within the Resource Planning division for Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS). The Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and coordination of technical data solutions and information systems that support the management of resources within the BCPOS portfolio.
The Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of technology professionals working in the fields of Geographic Information System (GIS), data management, collection, analysis and visualization, un-crewed aerial systems (UAS), web application development and database design. The Data Solutions Supervisor is a leader, creating a vision for team success and supporting employees in reaching the team’s and department goals. The Data Solutions Supervisor performs a wide variety of complex duties including administrative, managerial and project management duties, as well as technical duties, such as spatial analysis and occasional programming. The Data Solutions Supervisor champions a culture of technology and implements innovative solutions with the support of the team. Hybrid work is supported.
