The West Region Wildfire Council (WRWC) is accepting applications to fill our Vegetation Management Program Coordinator/ Lead Forester position.
The Vegetation Management Program Coordinator/Lead Forester position manages and implements WRWC’s Vegetation Management Program – a flagship program of the organization – which provides technical assistance and financial incentives for wildfire mitigation focused projects primarily on private land. Additionally, the position provides lead technical field forestry services for the organization. The position also collaborates with partner agencies such as the Colorado State Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and USDA Forest Service to plan and implement Wildland Urban Interface vegetation management and forest resiliency projects.
