The City of Loveland is recruiting for seasonal field crews in the Open Lands & Trails Division. The Maintenance Worker II positions are part-year (10-month), 40 hours/week with medical coverage benefit option.
This position performs maintenance and stewardship of city natural areas and trails including: care of native plants; removing trash and debris from open land sites; cleaning and maintaining natural area sites and facilities; construction and maintenance of soft and hard surface trails; control of noxious weeds through mowing, herbicide spraying, and other techniques; assisting with wildlife habitat improvement and restoration projects; and providing stewardships and education to the public through field contacts.
