Landscape Maintenance/Management Technician

Environmentally progressive homeowners association seeks a year-round landscape Maintenance Technician for a 185 home, 34 acre condominium complex with landscaping and water features in south central Denver. Primary responsibilities include: routine and regular landscape maintenance; pruning, shaping, and shearing shrubs; installing and maintaining annuals gardens, pots, and perennial beds; general maintenance of ponds, streams, and associated landscaping; proper application of chemicals used in groundskeeping; maintenance of landscaping tools and equipment; and support of snow removal efforts. Note: Lawncare and tree maintenance are provided by third party vendors. Strong communication skills are desired as this position interacts with a variety of people – HOA manager (immediate supervisor), other maintenance staff, vendors, HOA Grounds committee, and individual homeowners. This is a highly active and physical position, but one offering growth and professional development in landscaping using native and other waterwise plant materials.

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday with some room for flexibility

Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional landscaping experience and/or post-secondary

education (certificate, A.S., B.S.) in landscape maintenance or horticulture
