We mange over 1,000 acres of natural areas throughout the urban system – from the 8 acre riparian corridor next to the soccer complex to the 500+ acres of varied habitat around the Boulder Reservoir. Job Description Summary:

Under limited supervision, maintains natural areas throughout the Parks and Recreation system. Performs natural resource related maintenance and operations on City of Boulder Parks and Recreation natural lands including staff collaboration, project completion and program assistance. Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the areas of natural lands maintenance, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), restoration, wildlife management, equipment operation, community engagement, and performs related duties as required.

To balance our team we are specifically looking for candidates with vegetation management (IPM/restoration) experience.

Hiring Range:

$22.92 – $28.91

Typical Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7am to 3:30pm with some variety
