The Jefferson County Open Space (JCOS) Natural Resources team is happy to announce that we are now accepting applications for a full-time Natural Resources Specialist to support our forest management program. This position assists with forest management on JCOS parks and properties primarily by safely operating and maintaining light and heavy equipment during implementation of fuels-reduction, habitat enhancement, and forest restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with forest management that includes directional tree felling and supervising temporary/seasonal stuff during field operations.
