COSA Annual Outdoor Education and Park Ranger Career Fair

Hello COSA Community,

It is nearly that time of the year for our Annual Outdoor Education and Park Ranger Career Fair! Registration is currently open at the link below. Please note: We do have a max of 45 employers, so if you are interested in registering for a spot please sign up ASAP. The google form will close when we are full.

This is our program’s largest event of the year, and it is open to both RRCC students and to the public. Our mission in hosting this fair is to encourage individuals to explore the many employment, internship, and volunteer options available in the fields of Outdoor Education and Park Ranger Technology. The event is located on “the bridge” of the Red Rocks Community College campus in Lakewood, CO on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Our Outdoor Education program is comprised of a quickly growing Associate of Applied Science Degree and the following certificates: Outdoor Professional, Outdoor Industry Business/Management, Wilderness Therapy Specialist, and Facilitation/Education Specialist. The Associate’s Degree requires an internship, and many of our classes encourage or require volunteering with local organizations, so please feel free to promote any related opportunities you may have.

In addition, our Park Ranger Technology program includes an Associate of General Studies and certificates in Park Ranger Specialist and Resource Interpretation. Both Park Ranger programs require the completion of an internship as well.

There are no fees to participate. RRCC will provide a table, 2 chairs, and electric outlets (if requested). As a thank you for participating in the Career Fair, we will provide lunch for your company representatives. We can provide 2 lunches per registration.

Click here to register! You must register in order to participate.

Registration will close on 1/7/24 (or when full) to ensure we have adequate accommodations for those who have registered. Depending on space and other limitations, we may be able to allow for late registration on a case by case basis.
