The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) is expanding our field team to tackle new projects! I’ve previously shared information about our Seasonal Stewardship Coordinator position (applications are due Dec. 31); we’re also hiring three Wilderness Conservation Crew (WCC) Technicians (applications are Due. Jan. 10, 2024).
The WCC Technicians are PART-TIME (March 1 to October 31) field-based positions focused on implementing on-the-ground protections for designated wilderness areas in central Utah. Working on a team of four crew members, the WCC Technician will use remediation techniques, data collection, and monitoring to ensure the long-term protection of designated wilderness areas.
