We are undergoing a re-evaluation of our trail types and the definitions we use to categorize the different types of trails in our system. Would any trail managers out there be willing to share information on the following:
- What trail types and definitions do you utilize to categorize your trails (i.e. multi-use trail, local trail, park path, etc.)?
- Are the categories & definitions different for internal data vs. public-facing maps?
- How do you differentiate between sidewalks and trails?
