The Colorado State Forest Service is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant Nursery Manager at our Nursery in Fort Collins, Colorado. I wanted to reach out to our network and ask if you would be willing to share this opportunity with anyone who may be a great fit.
This position is ideal for an experienced nursery, greenhouse, horticulture, or agricultural production professional who is passionate about leading nursery operations and supporting Colorado’s reforestation efforts.
Position Highlights:
- Location: Fort Collins, CO
- Salary: $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience
- Lead container and bareroot seedling production operations
- Supervise and mentor nursery staff
- Help expand nursery production from 300,000–500,000 seedlings annually toward a long-term goal of 1–2 million seedlings each year
