COSA Lake County is Hiring – Natural Resources Specialist

Hello,

Lake County’s Water & Natural Resources Department is excited to hire for a full-time, benefited Natural Resources Specialist. Great living at 10,200 ft!

This NEW position supports the stewardship and sustainable management of county-owned natural resources, including open space, forested lands, and water resources. Approximately 75% of Lake County is public land, managed by agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. In recognition of this, the Natural Resource Specialist will also coordinate closely with public land agencies to support and complement their existing programs and projects, ensuring that county-led efforts are aligned and cooperative across jurisdictional boundaries.

This position will be open until filled, so please get your application in early as interviews will be scheduled as soon as there are enough qualified applicants.
