A reminder that we’re midway through the nomination period for the 2026 Blue Grama Awards and we want to hear all about the exciting, innovative, and inspirational work you’re doing in your communities!

Nominations are due Monday, July 20th at 5pm, and awards will be presented at the COSA conference in October.

Are innovative things happening in your agency or in your network? Are you involved in any outstanding open space programs or projects that deserve a shout-out? Give your colleagues the recognition they deserve by nominating them for a 2026 Blue Grama Award!

We’re accepting nominations now via the COSA website in the following categories:

  • Outstanding Achievement in Community/Ecosystem Resilience
  • Outstanding Visitor Engagement Program
  • Outstanding Achievement in Community Partnership and Collaboration
  • Outstanding Achievement in Ecological Restoration or Recreation Management

Nominations are due Monday, July 20th at 5pm. Awards will be presented at the COSA conference – October 5-7, 2026 in Crested Butte (registration opens next week!).
