COSA ENOR Environmental Discovery Camp Coordinator Job Posting

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Join Jefferson County Extension, a vibrant part of Colorado State University Extension, where we bring research-based education and resources to life, empowering individuals and communities to thrive. As the CSU Extension Program Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in positive youth development via ENOR environmental discovery camp for 4th-8th graders, and youth/family environmental programming throughout the year. The Coordinator will supervise the management and delivery of educational programs including ENOR, a year-round and part-time camp assistant, a seasonal team of 13 educators and about 4-10 teen program volunteers. This position offers a balance of collaborative teamwork and independent work, with flexible scheduling options to support work-life balance; evening and weekend hours will be necessary at times. The role also offers the opportunity to spend some time outdoors and hiking to ensure trail safety and connection to the curriculum, or visiting the camp/staff out in the field. If you’re passionate about getting youth, and potentially their families too, outdoors through educational opportunities, we invite you to bring your talents to this dynamic team!
