COSA 2027 Funded Research Opportunity – City of Boulder Open Space & Mount ain Parks

Hello COSA members,

The Open Space & Mountain Parks Department (OSMP) of the City of Boulder is once again accepting proposals for funding of scientific research on OSMP lands that addresses natural, cultural, and visitor resource conditions and management.

Important information about the OSMP Funded Research Program:

  • Proposal deadline is Jan 8, 2027, by 5:30 pm.
  • Preference is given to original proposals that address priority research topics identified by the department. However, all proposals will be considered based on their merit.
  • The maximum award amount for OSMP proposals is $12,000.
  • For research that crosses the land boundaries of OSMP and our neighbors (Boulder County Parks and Open Space, Recreation & Open Space, City of Longmont, and Jefferson County Parks and Open Space), we will also consider interagency grant proposals for joint funding.
