COSA Town of windsor is Hiring for a Parks Maintenance Operator

The Town of Windsor is looking for a Parks Maintenance Operator.

As a member of the Parks Division, the Parks Maintenance Operator performs semi-skilled and skilled tasks in all phases of parks, open space, trails, and sports field maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning shelters, restrooms and hardscapes, mowing and hand picking trash in all areas with focus on highly visible areas like public entrances to parks and facilities, parking lots, landscape areas adjacent to buildings. Incumbents in this role provide assistance to Parks Maintenance Technicians in performing tasks and duties to maintain the parks division. Position also performs event support services and snow and ice control/removal duties for town buildings, parking lots, trails and parks.

Qualifications:

•Minimum of one (1) year of previous ground maintenance experience

•Minimum of one (1) year of experience driving a truck, tractor or dump truck

•Equivalent combination of education and experience

•A valid Colorado Driver’s License that meets the Town of Windsor’s standards

•Pesticide Applicators License preferred

•Must possess current CPR, AED and First Aid certificate or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Pay Range:$17.79 to $22.24 DOQE
