POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
PARKWAYS TECHNICIAN I
Highlands Ranch Metro District is accepting applications for a Parkways Technician to
assist in the maintenance of community parkways. Applicants must have a strong desire
to work in a team oriented environment.
Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of parkway irrigation systems, ensuring
acceptable parkways appearance in assigned area and assisting other staff as needed
such as snow removal, sidewalk sweeping and turf renovations.
Two years of experience installing and/or maintaining commercial sprinkler systems is
preferred. Applicants must have a fundamental understanding of water conservation
practices, basic computer knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. This position also
requires a valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Pre-employment
drug screening will be conducted.

Minimum salary is $17.01 per hour. Excellent benefit package is included.
