Calling all birders and families to join us in our first ever "Big Day" Birding Event at Cal-Wood Education Center!
Cal-Wood is a 1,200 acre, nonprofit, Environmental Education Center tucked away in the foothills outside of Boulder. Throughout the year, we serve dozens of schools, and hundreds of students from the front range by providing educational experiences taught in an inquiry-based, and experiential way in our large outdoor classroom. Due to our status as an educational facility, we are deeply connected with the education community, but want to open up our large property to the Front Range Birding Community this May, and host our first annual birding party!
