TEENS, Inc., a highly successful and impactful, youth serving organization in Nederland, CO. is accepting applications for an Outdoor Leadership Director. The Outdoor Leadership Director must be willing to work with teens (6th grade – 21 years old) in a variety of settings in an effort to recruit them to participate in outdoor programming.
The Outdoor Leadership Director participates in ~24 overnights / year; plans, coordinates (obtains relevant permits), markets, and outreaches extended trips and after school rock climbing program; acts as an adviser for students and participates in the daily life of Chinook West – our alternative high school; oversees Teen Center hours (1 – 2 nights / week); oversees TEENS, Inc. risk management policies and trains staff members on our practices.
