Applications for the Boulder County Parks & Open Space, Resource Management Division Manager closes on Sunday, October 31 at 11:59 pm. This positions supervises a talented staff of resource professionals including wildlife biologists, foresters, rangers, educators, weed specialists, plant ecologists, and volunteers. This resource management division manager provides leadership for approximately 40 fulltime employees, 25 seasonal employees and 450 volunteers who are protecting biodiversity and wildlife habitats, supporting recreational use, managing lands in the wildland urban interface for both fire preparedness and healthy forests. The position requires a strong commitment to advancing racial equity by supporting culturally responsive and inclusive practices for staff, volunteers, researchers, and open space visitors.
