Cal-Wood is a non-profit organization that provides environmental education programs at our beautiful, private, 1,200-acre outdoor learning center. We are located 15 miles northwest of Boulder, in the foothills of the Rockies at an elevation of 7,800 feet just above Jamestown. Cal-Wood is open year round. During the school year, our clients are elementary school students and some adult weekend retreat groups. During the summer, we host summer camps for kids and adult retreat groups. The size of these groups can range from 40 to 100 people.
The full-time kitchen manager is in charge of coordinating and supervising Cal-Wood’s kitchen staff according to food safety standards. Duties include hiring, training and scheduling Cooks, planning meals, performing quality control on food, ordering inventory, and keeping the kitchen organized.
Experience with gluten free, dairy free, and other dietary restrictions preferred. Experience with google drive and online ordering systems preferred.

Salary starts at $21.00/hr and includes excellent employee benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance as well as sick and vacation time.
