COSA Bluff Lake Nature Center is hiring a land management intern!

Hi all,

Bluff Lake Nature Center is currently seeking inquisitive, motivated, and dedicated individuals for a six, nine, or 12-week Land Management Internship (~30 hours per week). This position is grant-funded through Great Outdoors Colorado.

The internship positions will assist BLNC’s Land Manager in stewardship of the Bluff Lake property through a variety of projects to better understand the ecology of the place, restore and protect native habitat, and improve the visitor experience. Duties may include, but are not limited to: plant and wildlife data collection, water quality monitoring, mapping using ArcGIS field applications, assisting in the coordination of and communication with volunteer groups, engaging with the public and managing visitor use of the site, maintenance of site infrastructure, including signage, fencing, trails, etc.

This internship is only available to individuals aged 18-24 who live in one of the following neighborhoods: Montbello, Northwest Aurora, Commerce City, or Northeast Park Hill.
