COSA COSA Conference 2022 Session Proposals Wanted!

COSA Community –

Do you have open space, natural resource management, or conservation expertise you would like to share? The COSA Steering Committee is seeking presentations for the 2022 COSA conference, themed "Renew, Recharge, Reconnect" held September 19-21, at the Elevations Hotel and Spa in Crested Butte, Colorado.

The deadline to submit your proposal is Friday, May 13, 2022.

In keeping with this year’s theme, we strongly encourage topics of renewal for 2022. How can we take care of our staff, our communities and our natural resources moving forward from two + challenging years? How have we reinvented our work? What changed in the past couple years for the better that we should hang onto moving forward?

Consider the following topics for sessions:

• Innovative partnerships

• Infusing wellness and selfcare into our routines

• Educating and welcoming new users

• Tackling large wildfires and fire mitigation

• Reconnecting after or during remote work environments

• Climate adaptation strategies

• Other topics you feel will be engaging and expand our collective knowledge!

Think creatively! What are you and your partners doing that will inspire others? Workshops are 60-75 minutes. Preference will be given to interactive presentations that invite dialogue, discussion, and constructive debate.

Please submit your session proposal at Request for Session Proposals – Colorado Open Space Alliance
