Commerce City recently started a Park Ranger Program in January 2022. Under the general direction of Parks, Recreation & Golf, the Park Rangers patrols parks, trails, and open space properties to provide visitor safety and resource protection, education and outreach, and ensure compliance with park rules and regulations. Park Rangers collaborate with city departments and external organizations to provide education and enforcement in parks, trails and open spaces within Commerce City.
