Description of Job This position will report to the Real Estate Land Protection Specialist and the Real Estate Section Manager and will provide assistance in the administration of CPW’s Colorado Wildlife Habitat Program (CWHP) and Conservation Easement Stewardship Program (CESP). The CWHP offers funding opportunities for Colorado landowners who wish to voluntarily protect important wildlife habitat, provide wildlife-related recreational access to the public or sell their property to CPW. The CESP oversees ~300 conservation easements across Colorado held both by CPW and third party partners. This is a deadline-driven role which demands meticulous attention to detail, an ability to work independently, and positive interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • processing annual funding application data
  • assisting with annual land conservation reporting requirements
  • ensuring conservation real estate documentation integrity
  • assisting other Real Estate Section duties, as assigned

Salary $20.00 – $25.00 Hourly
